Shaft wall covering
The Stingl shaft wall covering consists of flame-retardant hard foam boards (building material class according to DIN 4102-1: B1 flame resistant) in two plate thicknesses 60 and 100 mm, each with a dimension of (LxW) 1250x600 mm. The panels can be cut with a suitable knife/saw to the desired size on site. Optionally the hard foam panels are easily and quickly fixed with suitable hard foam panel holders or with a facade adhesive (building material class B1 flame resistant) to the shaft wall .
The horizontal distance between the inner shaft wall and the threshold must not exceed over the entire shaft height 0,15 m (1). The upper specified distance may be increased to max. 0.20 m (2), if the height does not exceed 0.50 m (3). Between two consecutive shaft doors only one recess is allowed (4).
