17. Wire rope traction hoists and accessories

Wire rope traction are the ideal drive system for lifts, elevator installation, suspended working platforms and height-adjustable work locations.

The rope doesn't have to be stored. This allows you a principally unlimited lifting height.

The wire rope passes through a traction sheave. Friction between a V-shaped groove of the sheave and the rope pressed in the groove produces the traction.

General information: Safety is priority

The wire rope traction hoists meet the standard DIN EN 1808, CSA Z-271, UL 1323 or ANSI 17.1 requirements. The Overspeed Fallarrest has a shock factor 15% better than EN 1808 requires. We offer two standard controls and special controls according the customer requirements.

Overspeed Safety Lock (also with electric switch) and Inclination Safety Lock are optional safety devices for manriding traction hoists.

 

All products have safety certificates such as CSA, UL and CE.
