Shaft wall covering
The Stingl shaft wall covering according to EN 81-20 5.2.5.3.1 consists of flame-retardant hard foam boards (fire class E, according to EN 13501-1) in two plate thicknesses 60 and 100 mm, each with a dimension of (LxW) 1250x600 mm. The panels can be cut with a suitable knife/saw to the desired size on site.
Optionally the hard foam panels are easily and quickly fixed with suitable plaster dowels or with a facade adhesive (building material class B1 heavy flame retardant) to the shaft wall.
The horizontal distance between the inner shaft wall and the threshold must not exceed over the entire shaft height 0,15 m (1). The upper specified distance may be increased to max. 0.20 m (2), if the height does not exceed 0.50 m (3). Between two consecutive shaft doors only one recess is allowed (4).
