For the application on the car roof in case of an insufficient shaft head clearance. To enter the car roof, simply use the handle to extract the guard rail to a safe height. Fitters safely operate from the floor level.
A safety switch controls the position of the car guard rail. An inspection ride on the car roof is possible as soon as the guard rail is extended and the safety switch opens/shuts.
The car guard rail is retracted by a revision ride into the shaft head, while the shaft ceiling presses it down and locks it. The 3-part telescopic car guard rail is LIFTINSTITUUT certified and conforms to DIN EN 81- 20.
The 3-part telescopic guard rail can be fixed according to space and load conditions of the car roof.
The circular horizontal bars (tube sections) can be shortened on site.
Option: the guard rail system can be combined with a 100 mm toe board or a circulating security net.

The minimal distance between top of the car and shaft ceiling must be taken into account to avoid damage when the guard rail is retracted!
